Robert Dring, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Dring is the most recent addition to North Shore Surgical Specialists. He completed his fellowship in colon/rectal surgery at North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Hospital. He is a general surgeon specializing in colo-rectal procedures. Patients are reassured by his soft speaking manner and gentle nature.

Education

Dr. Robert Dring earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Gordon College in Massachusetts in 1992. He continued his education at NY Medical College in Valhalla New York where he received his doctorate in 1998. His internship and residency were completed at the University of Connecticut. He went on to his Fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at North Shore University Hospital.

He is well published and a member of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons.
